Here are the kids all dressed up in their Easter attire. Easter must have really made an impression on Jaxson because as we were eating lunch yesterday (pizza and grapes) he informed me that it was his last supper. Oh and while he was eating his Easter candy he said, "I'm thinking about Jesus!"
Later on in the car he asked for the shape Bible. It's just a book with shapes in it. I was expaining this to him and that the Bible is God's Word. He is holding the shape book at this point and says, "This is my word!"
We took the kids camping on Friday night for a short little campout at Fort Griffin State Park just up the road. We all had a really good time (except for Rachel--she's apparently not the sleeping in the tent type). They had a playground and as we're setting up the tent I hear, "Diego!!" Sure enough, Jaxson told all the kids on the playground that his name was Diego and that's what they were all calling him. For those of you that don't know Diego is a cartoon character that Jaxson really likes.
Rachel was wandering around the house today calling. "Dah-eee." It's the first time she said something other than Da-Da. It was so cute that we called Dah-eee on the phone so he could hear it and she actually cooperated. Usually once you put her on the phone she won't say a word. He was so touched he actually stopped working and came home just to see her. Of course he can do that because we live on the ranch.
